How do I get rid of my CBSsports.com Fantasy baseball league? I own the league but there is nobody in the league , it also costs $160!!! I don't want it but I don't know how to get rid of it. If i cant and nobody else is in the league when baseball season starts do they just delete it or do I have to pay?

Blueberries Thompson replied: "Sorry, i dont have an answer for you. But i do have a fantasy baseball keeper league you may be interested in. This league is very deep and competitive and full of active managers. If you want more info, e-mail me at."

KKM replied: "If you don't pay the fee SPLN will cancel the league once the season starts."

Camel Joe replied: "it will go away by itself unless u paid thats what happened to me"

with the 4th pick in cbssports.com fantasy league who do you pick? nba fantasy league

mojo8983 replied: "It depends on who's taken with the first three picks. I know that Chris Paul is going to be taken in either the first or second pick (same with Kobe) so it boils down to who's available at this point. If Amare Stoudemire is taken, then pick LeBron (same if LeBron is taken with the third pick). The reason is that CP3, Kobe, Amare and LeBron are consider the top-4 players in Fantasy Drafts at this point, so I'm giving you options on who you should pick in any scenario."

Why doesnt anyone do the NBA MOCK DRAFT. CBSSPORTS.com? Everyone who likes basketball should go to cbssports.com and click on fantasy. then on nba and look for the nba mock drafts. If you cant find it then ur just stupid.

rickdvd2007 replied: "Because you do the mock drafts AFTER you sign up to play fantasy, not before hand!"

About how long does a Fantasy Football Draft last? I'm doing a CBSSports.com Fantasy Football Free team. How long does a 14 round draft with 12 people doing the draft.

Average Joes replied: "It totally depends on the amount of people that make the draft, but approximately an hour."

Jay replied: "It will last anywhere from 2 - 4 hours. This depends on how prepared everyone is. The first 5 or 6 rounds will be quick, but once choices start to dwindle, it slows down. I would recommend purchasing a huge draft board. This helps out more than I can explain. Nothing is worse than consistently seeing people pick players that have already gone in previous rounds."

Nicholas replied: "i think is 3 min"

Messykatt replied: "You only left out one thing, but it's the most important: what setting did the commish use seconds per pick? I don't know much about CBS, but at yahoo and espn, the most common choices are 60 and 90 seconds. The reason this is important is that, if this is a new public league, chances are someone won't show up, or will bail during the draft. If they don't set their draft to auto (and they never do) this just eats up time! Anyway, I run a 12 person yahoo league with 15 rounds and 90 seconds. It usually takes us about 2 hours, I guess, but this is the same group and I have them well trained that if they leave, they send it to auto :)"

Corey S replied: "depends on number of people and whether or not the computer is selecting for them. Usually about between an 1 hour and 30 min and 2 hours if I had to guess for you. Maybe slightly longer"

Matt T replied: "Depends on how long the others take to make their pick"

HELP! Female needing a super crash course in Fantasy Football draft and play strategy!? This is my first year playing Fantasy Football. I have been reading through the 100+ pages of CBSSports.com's 2009 Draft Kit, but I am still confused about the whole process and strategy. Is there an experienced, successful player out there who could give me a simple but thorough explanation of how the draft and game works? Perhaps even some stellar strategy that will help me win against all the stinky, snotty boys? ;o) THANKS!

Timothy replied: "Well, I play through AOL's FF Format but I figure they all got to be fairly similar. On Draft... You want to lock up a Stud RB First( although you'll see some go with a QB like Drew Brees). This is why Adrian Peterson and Matt Forte, and so on usually get picked up through the first round. It's got a lot to do with how many points they are worth. RB's and Qb's earn more so you pick those first. Then move on to WR's, then move to TE and whatever else you got. I always leave Kicker for my very last pick. You won't miss anything there by doing that I promise. Also, on those last few picks when your basically down to guys who will be your backups for bye weeks, take a chance on some promising good rookies here and there as opposed to older players who have no upside. Previous examples where this has paid off would be Matt Ryan from last year or Ryan Grant in 2007. There is always a couple. As for playing, always play your studs, no matter the matchup! On the other players, use your matchups, weather/dome status, and common sense to guide you. Good luck. Hope I didn't just add another page."
